Bedfont Lakes

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We’re pleased to inform you that the annual Lote Tree School trip will be to Bedfont Lakes on Sunday 20th July 2025, 10am-1pm insha’Allah.

Bedfont Lakes Country Park is a hidden gem bursting with wildlife, fresh air, and hands-on learning experiences! From exploring nature trails and spotting rare birds to pond-dipping adventures and discovering mini-beasts in their natural habitat, it’s a day that sparks curiosity and brings classroom learning to life. With wide open spaces, safe paths, and dedicated education zones, Bedfont Lakes offers the perfect blend of fun, learning, and outdoor discovery.

There is no cost for this trip.

Please kindly complete the Consent Form below if you would like your child(ren) to attend. If your child is unable to attend, no action is required.

Itinerary

10:00am – Students to be dropped off at the below car park (circled in red below). Here are the Google Map directions directly to the car park.

10:15am – We will proceed to the playground area next to the lakes. We will be bringing some sports equipment. Students will have the opportunity to visit the toilets before play.

11:30am – We will have a school picnic near the lakes.

12:15pm – Students will have the opportunity to resume playing.

1:00pm – Students to be picked up from same location as drop off point (circled in red below).

Important:

Please ensure:

– Your child wears suitable clothing and footwear (no sandals).

– Your child visits the toilet before leaving home. There will be an opportunity to visit the toilet in the cafe.

– Your child brings a packed lunch (nut-free) and a drink in a disposable bag.

In the event of rain on the day, we will resort to having some games and indoor picnic at Lote inshā’aAllāh.

I understand that I am responsible for getting my child to and from the departure and return sites identified above. I understand that my child shall be accompanied by staff member(s) during the trip, including while traveling from the departure site to the destination site, and from the destination site to the return site. I understand that my child is expected to behave responsibly and to follow the school’s discipline code and policies. Children must bring a disposable and nut-free lunch (no glass bottles) labelled with his or her name.
